Early Bird

This Kingfisher lives at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in Queensland. My hubby and I visited the sanctuary a few weeks ago to take some photos of birds. This little fellow sat on the branch looking at me for ages while I took some photos. It had just been down to the feeder to pick itself out a nice juicy mealworm for lunch. Kingfisher

This is a watercolor painting of a Kingfisher. This little bird lives at Currumbin Bird Sanctuary in Queensland. I took quite a few photos of the bird while it was sitting in an aviary. Unfortunately I had to take the photos looking through wire. Prints are available for sale in my Etsy shop.

Duck Snooze

This little fellow was having a little snooze on one leg when I took his photo for this watercolor painting. He woke up when I approached to take his photo but he left his leg tucked up underneath him. Prints are available for sale in my Etsy shop.
